What we lost in the storm

Iain Andrews is an artist based in Manchester and is a member of the Contemporary British Painting group. For the past 19 years, he has also worked as an art psychotherapist in Moss Side, with teenagers struggling with some of the sad stuff in this tale.

We’ve all lost things that mean something to us. A death, a family breakup, a loss of identity causing us to question who we really are. Maybe you have struggled with some deep sadness and know how it feels trying to cope, or maybe you are still struggling with some. This book looks at the story of one child as they battle to navigate life in a confusing, stormy world and try to make sense of feelings of isolation and anxiety.

This is a story that will speak to children of all ages, and to the adults they will one day become.
