‘Making Waves’ is a A6 booklet is by well know speaker Andy Hickford and designed by Verité. It is written in a sensitive and humourous way, and designed in a non religious manner. It doesn’t set out the reasons for baptism, but is intended to help visitors think through the experience of attending a baptism that may just turn out to be the most important day of their lives.
If you are a visitor invited to a baptism service, it can be a scary experience to say the least! After all, who in their right mind gets baptised? Why would anyone take a bath in public?
